Viexo
Human-exoskeleton interaction system of variable impedance
The VIEXO project focuses on improving exoskeleton design by using variable impedance to imitate natural human arm movement. The project is funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark. Our goal is to create a customizable bionic shoulder exoskeleton that can adapt to human motion. For this purpose, we designed a hybrid exoskeleton system that combines a passive torque generator using a Variable Stiffness Mechanism (VSM) with an active motor working in parallel.
